The Laboratory of Growth Regulators once again participated this year in the Science Fair, which attracted more than two thousand visitors to Olomouc. The popular outreach event, held under the theme “Science Through All the Senses,” offered visitors the opportunity to explore natural sciences through dozens of interactive activities engaging sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch.
At the Laboratory of Growth Regulators’ booth, visitors entered the world of plant hormones and modern biological research. Through practical demonstrations and simple experiments, they had the opportunity to discover how scientists work, learn about the importance of plant growth regulators, and see how modern methods help reveal the principles underlying plant development and function.
Participation in the Science Fair provides the Laboratory of Growth Regulators with an opportunity to share the results of scientific research with the general public, encourage interest in natural sciences, and demonstrate that science can be not only important but also engaging and inspiring.
