- Synthesis of ABA analogues and their structure-activity relationships in plant bioassays
- Preparation of antibodies selectively recognizing different ABA catabolites
- Development of sensitive methods for the quantitative analysis of abscisic acid and its catabolites in plant tissues using immunoassays, immunoaffinity chromatography, mass spectrometry, and their combinations
- Development and application of modern analytical isolation and purification methods combined with novel analytical approaches for the identification and determination of new ABA catabolites in plants
