Please note that the information serves as a\u00a0<\/strong>general guide<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>for exchange students.\u00a0<\/strong>Each exchange programme might have slightly different eligibility requirements, application processes, and other particularities<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>so it is important to follow instructions specific to the exchange programme.<\/p>\n Study programs<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0allow you to take courses at Palack\u00fd University Olomouc, earn credits, and immerse yourself in a new academic environment.\u00a0A prerequisite for your application is the bilateral agreement between your home university and Palack\u00fd University concerning the subject you are studying. All students must create a Learning Agreement, either digitally (for EU institutions) or on paper (for non-EU institutions), which will include the list of courses they plan to attend during their stay.<\/p>\n Under the umbrella of Erasmus+ you can apply for traditional EU Erasmus exchange (KA131), the International Credit Mobility (KA171), and Aurora Programme.<\/p>\n Students arriving for a study exchange through programmes mentioned above are nominated and submit their application in the\u00a0<\/strong>Erasmus+ application<\/strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n Students who come for the\u00a0ERASMUS+ programme or\u00a0other short term programmes choose courses from the\u00a0section\u00a0Short-term Courses (link below). Most departments at\u00a0the\u00a0Faculty of\u00a0Science offer courses in\u00a0the\u00a0English language. These courses are not exclusively intended for\u00a0foreign students only, the\u00a0exchange students will study alongside Czech students. Exchange students must enroll a\u00a0minimum of\u00a015\u00a0ECTS (20\u00a0ECTS for\u00a0Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility students) out\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0usual maximum of\u00a030\u00a0ECTS. In general, students are required to take the largest portion of courses\u00a0(<\/strong>at least 60%)<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>from the UP faculty\/department responsible for the Bilateral Agreement<\/strong>\u00a0under which the student has been nominated or from the\u00a0department directly related to the student\u00b4s field of study<\/strong>. The remaining minimum credits can be taken upon approval from other UP faculty\/departments. Students must be enrolled in\u00a0full-time study.<\/p>\n More information is also available from the Erasmus\/Mobility office at your home institution.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Traineeships<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0offer hands-on work experience, helping you gain practical skills while exploring a different professional culture. This mobility activity stimulates and\u00a0strongly promotes the\u00a0education and\u00a0training of\u00a0students through traineeships abroad. It\u00a0provides students with an\u00a0opportunity to\u00a0apply their current theoretical knowledge and\u00a0skills related to\u00a0their field of\u00a0study in\u00a0a\u00a0specific work environment, expand these with new expert knowledge and\u00a0capacities or\u00a0strengthen key competencies such as\u00a0efficient communication, including communication in\u00a0foreign languages, intercultural competencies, team work, organizational skills, problem solution, information literacy, creativity, etc. Traineeships significantly enhance the\u00a0qualification profile of\u00a0students and\u00a0recent graduates, boost their professional and\u00a0personal development, and\u00a0increase their employability.<\/p>\n The\u00a0Traineeship does not require a\u00a0bilateral agreement but must be agreed upon and\u00a0confirmed in\u00a0the\u00a0form of\u00a0a\u00a0Letter of\u00a0Admission (LoA) or\u00a0Learning Agreement for\u00a0Traineeships (LA). The\u00a0traineeship must be closely related to\u00a0the\u00a0field of\u00a0study, and\u00a0following its\u00a0completion must be fully recognized by\u00a0the\u00a0relevant department\/centre.
