Ondřej Novák from the Faculty of Science of Palacký University in Olomouc (UP) and the Institute of Experimental Botany of the CAS has succeeded in a demanding international competition and won one of the most prestigious scientific grants of the European Research Council (ERC). The STARMORPH project in the Synergy Grants category, which was supported with €10 million, focuses on research into the role of the plant hormone auxin in plant growth and patterning.
