Scientific focus:
Synthesis of ABA analogues, their structure-activity in plant bioassays; preparation of antibodies selectively recognizing different ABA catabolites; development of a sensitive method for quantitative analysis of abscisic acid and its catabolites in plant tissues by immunoassays, immunoaffinity chromatography, mass spectrometry and their combinations. Development and application of new modern analytical isolation and purification methods combined with novel analytical approaches for identification and determination of new ABA catabolites in plants.
