In the 2026 Research.com rankings, five scientists from the Laboratory of Growth Regulators have been recognized among the world’s leading experts in the fields of plant sciences and biochemistry. The highest-ranked are Prof. Miroslav Strnad (2nd place in the Czech Republic in the field of Plant Science and Agronomy) and Prof. Ondřej Novák (2nd place in the Czech Republic in the field of Biology and Biochemistry).
Other highly ranked Czech scientists in the field of Plant Science and Agronomy include Karel Doležal (16th place in the Czech Republic), Danuše Tarkowská (25th place in the Czech Republic), and Aleš Pěnčík (35th place in the Czech Republic). This recognition confirms the consistently high international standing of the research conducted at our joint workplace of the Faculty of Science of Palacký University and the Institute of Experimental Botany of the Czech Academy of Sciences.
