From 29 September to 2 October 2026, the Faculty of Science at Palacký University Olomouc hosted the popular event “A Week as a University Student at the Faculty of Science”, giving high school students the opportunity to experience university life firsthand.
This popular programme allows participants to attend university classes, visit research facilities and laboratories, and gain insight into the world of scientific research. As part of the programme, the high school students also visited the Laboratory of Growth Regulators, where they explored the research environment and perhaps found inspiration for their future academic paths, including the possibility of studying Experimental Biology.
