Research focus

  • Cytokinin Receptors: Investigating the compartmentalization of cytokinin perception within cells, focusing on the role of cytokinin and receptor transport in hormone homeostasis.
  • Cytokinin Transport: Characterizing mechanisms of intracellular and long-distance cytokinin transport. Studying the ENT transporter family and its interactions with other cytokinin transporters.
  • Transcriptomic Studies: Conducting molecular analyses in plants and fungi to understand the mode of action of cytokinins and their derivatives. Exploring phytohormonal cross-talk and stress-related responses.
  • Fluorescence Labeling: Utilizing fluorescence labeling to visualize the ligand-binding domains of cytokinin receptors and interacting proteins.
